Our Story

In a world full of copy-paste resorts and crowded beaches, Splash Paradise was created to be something different. A floating waterpark designed not only for fun, but with intention and heart.
We’re a team of friends, travelers, entrepreneurs, and ocean lovers who fell in love with Zanzibar and wanted to bring something new to its shores. What began as late-night ideas on beach mats slowly transformed into hands-on construction in the ocean, shaped by passion, teamwork, and a shared belief that this island deserves experiences as unique as its spirit.

As the first floating waterpark in Zanzibar, our playground rises and falls with the tides, offering a one-of-a-kind adventure. We’re committed to thoughtful, eco-conscious design that minimizes environmental impact while maximizing joy for every visitor. Our mission is deeply connected to the community around us, and we believe tourism should give back, support local growth, and create real opportunities.

From the very beginning, we made a clear promise: Splash Paradise would not only welcome visitors but also uplift and empower the people of Zanzibar. This commitment is at the heart of everything we do.

We focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships with local businesses, schools, and community groups. Our team is proudly made up of Zanzibari staff who receive training, support, and opportunities to grow within the company. Whenever possible, we source materials, services, and food from nearby vendors so that the economic benefits stay within the island. We also collaborate with local artists, musicians, and performers to create special events that celebrate Zanzibar’s culture and creativity.

Our goal is simple. As Splash Paradise grows, the community grows with us.
